Thor

i think its about time i started my next (this) post.  i really don't have any topic but i wanted to write while listening to power metal.  for those of you who don't know there is a big difference between metal and screamo.  anyway back on to my topic of no topic, halfway through this i might just start to write a random story.  well to get my mind in the mode i need it to be in I'll start writing about the Norse gods and mythology.

Thor the god of thunder is the most accurately represented god in modern times.  this is in reference to the Thor in Marvel comics.  because Thor was known as the Friend of the common people, and they would pray to him for protection and for him to bless there crops.  and in the marvel comics he was kicked out of Asgard for his desire to protect everyone; this is how Thor (in the comics) came to earth (or Midgard).  oh and a little bit off comic topic, Thor got his hammer from a dwarf who's name is "all knowing one" in the old Slavic tongue; promised his daughter to this dwarf in exchange for the hammer, but when the dwarf came Thor questioned him until sun rise, dwarfs turn to stone if hit by the sun which is just what the all knowing one did.  So Thor got a new hammer for free, and his daughter doesn't have to marry a dwarf, win win situation.

but my lovly public i have to leave now so fare the well, and have a good day/ night depending on when you read this.

  2. I really enjoyed your snippit on Nordic Mythology. A few things I noticed (grammatical wise) were your lack of Capital letters in the exerpt, ". this is in reference to the Thor in Marvel comics." Another thing I found was a few problems with Their, There, and They're. Nothing really major.

Otherwise, I found your post to be quite good.
